Meet Molly Stewart
Molly was born and raised in Washoe County as a sixth generation Nevadan, with deep familial ranching roots in Elko, Eureka and Humboldt counties. She is a proud graduate of the Washoe County school system, and an early graduate of the University of Nevada-Reno's paralegal studies program in 1995. Molly has spent her 20+ year professional career working in Washoe County law firms with specializations primarily in family law, estates/probates, and trust administration.
Most recently, Molly was recruited for her expertise in estate planning/probate administration, and law firm management to head the trust and estate settlement team at a Nevada trust company, while also overseeing their human resources functions.
Molly is the proud wife of a Navy veteran (Jes), bonus mom of a Marine veteran son (Matt), and a mother of three adult daughters (Kate, Gracie & Natasha), who are future nurses, counselors and logistics professionals. All were raised, and currently reside, in Washoe County.
Molly is not a career politician and can bring private sector innovation to her role as Public Administrator.
When elected, Molly's primary focus will be on fiscal responsibility, common-sense decision-making and leadership, with a mission to serve all of Washoe County. Molly is passionate about making her community a better place to work and live for everyone!
